Bosch, the German technology and industrial services company, and Stibo Systems, a Denmark-headquartered master data management company based in Aarhus and a subsidiary of Stibo Software Group, have announced a partnership focused on supporting enterprises through SAP S/4HANA implementations using master data management, known as MDM. The joint offering combines Bosch's experience managing large-scale ERP transformations with Stibo Systems' STEP platform, a multidomain MDM system.
The companies pointed to Bosch's own technology environment as the basis for the partnership. Bosch's global infrastructure includes more than 110 million business partners, over 200 semantic data models and hundreds of connected enterprise applications. During its own transformation, Bosch identified master data management as a factor in supporting its SAP S/4HANA migration and broader operational goals, and the partnership is built around applying that internal experience to other organizations undergoing similar transformations.
The joint service covers data governance, workflow-driven master data processes, semantic API integration, data quality management, migration support and integration architecture design. Beyond implementation, Bosch and Stibo Systems will also offer consulting, governance frameworks, managed operations and ongoing optimization for multinational organizations running large transformation programs.
Martin Schultz, Head of Corporate Dept. IT and Digitalization at Bosch, described what the companies see as the underlying problem the partnership addresses:
