TransUnion, a US-based information and analytics company that provides credit data, fraud detection and consumer identity services, has appointed Yolande Chirwa as Chief Human Resources Officer and Vice President for its Africa operations. The role covers both TransUnion Africa and its Global Capability Centre in Africa, known as GCCA.
Chirwa brings more than 20 years of HR leadership experience across regulated and high-growth markets on the continent. Her most recent position was Vice President and Head of HR Africa at Cipla Pharmaceuticals, the Indian generic medicines company, where she led people strategy across multiple African markets and managed succession planning and regional integration programs. Earlier roles included HR leadership positions at BetKing, AB InBev and SABMiller Africa, where she supported business expansion including greenfield operations and market entry.

Chirwa holds a Master's degree in Organisational Development and Leadership.
