Oracle, a provider of enterprise software and cloud applications, has introduced Oracle Manager Edge, an AI powered coaching assistant for its Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management platform. The new capability is designed to help managers make day to day leadership decisions by drawing on workforce data already available in Oracle Cloud HCM.
Integrated with Oracle Touchpoints, Oracle's employee engagement application, Manager Edge uses information such as employee feedback, goals, performance reviews, one to one conversations, team feedback and organizational priorities to generate recommendations tailored to each manager's situation. Oracle said the assistant is built to support security and compliance requirements while helping managers act on workforce insights without leaving their daily workflows.
The tool is available through Slack and Microsoft Teams, allowing managers to receive guidance while working in collaboration platforms. Oracle said the assistant can recommend ways to prepare for performance discussions, recognize employee achievements, support career development and address workplace conversations as they arise.

Oracle said the system also aims to provide organizations with a consistent approach to leadership development by offering guidance to managers regardless of their role, experience level or location. Recommendations are intended to support employee development, reinforce company priorities and help managers improve engagement, retention and team performance through suggested actions based on workforce insights.
Oracle Manager Edge is part of Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications. Oracle Cloud HCM connects human resources processes from hiring through retirement on a single platform and includes Oracle Touchpoints, which supports ongoing manager and employee conversations, feedback and engagement. The new assistant expands those capabilities by embedding AI driven coaching into managers' everyday work.
