OneDosh, a financial technology company focused on cross border payments, has launched support for Cash App funding for eligible users in the United States sending money to Nigeria, adding a new entry point into its U.S.-Nigeria payment network.
The company said the feature allows users to add U.S. dollars from Cash App to their OneDosh wallets, convert the funds into Nigerian naira and complete transactions through its existing payment infrastructure. According to OneDosh, the integration provides direct fiat funding from Cash App into naira.
The addition targets one of the world's busiest remittance corridors, where transfers are driven by family support, education, business activity, creator income and trade between the two countries. The new funding option is intended for users whose financial activity spans both markets.
With more than 200,000 users across the United States, Nigeria, Canada and 29 European countries, OneDosh offers services including multi currency wallets, U.S. banking capabilities, currency conversion between dollars and naira, virtual and physical payment cards, stablecoin infrastructure, creator payouts and cross border payments.
Cash App funding is currently limited to the U.S.-Nigeria corridor, although the broader OneDosh platform operates across several regions. To encourage adoption of the new feature, the company said eligible users in the United States will not pay OneDosh fees on Cash App funding transactions through August 31, 2026.
The launch reflects continued efforts by fintech providers to simplify cross border transactions for consumers and businesses with financial ties between North America and Africa, where digital payment platforms are competing to reduce the number of steps required to move money between markets.
