VelaFi brings cross border payments to mobile

VelaFi, a stablecoin-powered financial infrastructure platform enabling fast, compliant global money movement for businesses, today launched its mobile app on iOS and Android. With this launch, the full power of VelaFi’s payment infrastructure moves off the desktop. Treasurers, finance teams, and operators managing cross-border payments can now act from anywhere, without the friction that comes with a web-only platform.

The app is open to both existing clients and new users, who can sign up and get started directly from mobile. Core capabilities include stablecoin deposits, withdrawals, and transfers; fiat funding and payouts with stablecoin conversion; global payments; real-time balance tracking across accounts; and live in-app customer support. Security is institutional-grade throughout, with two-factor authentication and a custom payment PIN on every account.

In the months ahead, VelaFi will expand the app to include the full suite of capabilities available on the web platform, reaching complete feature parity.

"Most of our clients are running financial operations across multiple time zones," said Maggie Wu, CEO and Co-Founder of VelaFi. "A web-only platform works, but it creates friction at exactly the moments when speed matters. The app removes that. And this is bigger than convenience, we're building the infrastructure for a world where businesses can move money the way the internet moves information: instantly, compliantly, without unnecessary intermediaries. This app is the next step in that direction."

The launch comes as the B2B cross-border payments market surpasses $31 trillion annually (FXC Intelligence, 2025) and stablecoin on-chain settlement volume exceeds $27 trillion (Artemis Analytics, 2025), signals that the infrastructure for global money movement is fundamentally shifting. VelaFi, with more than 1,000 institutional clients along the LATAM and Asia corridor, has been part of that shift from the start.
